I’m Simon Ward and I’m an acupuncturist and I’m passionate about what I do. My journey into acupuncture started with seeing the benefits directly following a course of treatment. I trained at The Northern College of Acupuncture for four years and have been in practice since 2006.
Acupuncture has been practiced for over 3000 years in the East and is increasingly being recognised in the West as a stand alone treatment and a complement to Western treatments and interventions.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and hold a local authority licence to practise. I regularly receive supervision and meet with other practitioners. I also attend on going training to keep my skills up to date.
As well as working at the Broadgate Wellbeing Space I run a practice in Skipton and also at Pateley Bridge.
Every person I treat is an individual and as such you can expect an approach that treats you as an individual and not a condition or illness. Traditional acupuncture takes all aspects of your health and well-being into account when working out the best way of personalising your treatment.
